The following terms apply to Cinema City website (www.cinemacity.ro) visitor use or Cinema City locations and should be read carefully before any such use.
Access in the halls is only granted to clients with valid tickets (one ticket per person) and only for the show and hour indicated on the ticket.
The duration of the show you are about to watch is made up of the movie duration and between 5 and 15 minutes and trailers and advertisement spots. We wish to mention that this is a worldwide used policy.
Clients can access the cinema hall anytime during the movie, based on a valid ticket, but on condition they do not disturb the other clients in the hall.
Cinema City is a completely smoke-free environment throughout. Individuals which are caught smoking (including electronic cigarettes or any other artificial cigarettes or smoking devices) indoors will be ejected immediately without a refund.
No illegal substances or alcohol are allowed in the cinema premises – excluding the ones purchased from the Cinema City concession.
Food or similar products from outside Cinema City’s concession are not allowed in the cinema halls. For this, all Cinema City employees are allowed to ask customers about their possessions.
Customers are not allowed to bring weapons into the cinema. Any person found in possession of illegal substances or weapons will be denied the entry and will have to leave the cinema premises. Cinema City will also report such incidents to the Police.
Cinema City reserves the right to refuse entry to any person believed to be intoxicated and will ask any person or customer who is believed to be intoxicated to leave the cinema premises.
Cinema City reserves the right to ask antisocial, violent or disturbing clients to leave the cinema immediately without being entitled to a refund. The manager will determine what constitutes antisocial, violent or disturbing.
CCTV monitoring takes place within our premises for the purpose of protecting our clients, staff and property.
Mobile phones must be switched off for the entire length of the movie or set on silent, but devices will not be used during this time as the backlight may disturb other clients.
Customers are not allowed to bring in the halls any type of recording equipment, as it will be confiscated and inspected by the cinema manager on duty. Cinema City also reserves the right to inform the Police.
All customers must be seated during the movie screening. Blocking or sitting on the stairs is strictly forbidden.
Please check all the transaction details (change, products, seats, day and hour of the show) before leaving the counters. Cinema City will not entertain any disputes afterwards.
Cinema City draws the client’s attention to the conditions of CNC (Centrul National al Cinematografiei – National Cinema Center) film ratings. Cinema City is obliged to and will refuse admission to any person who, in the opinion of an authorized Cinema City employee or representative is under the minimum age required as movie audience. Cinema City reserves the right to request any individual to provide proof of age and to prevent such individuals from screenings if they appear too young and/or cannot prove they are of minimum age for admittance.
The CNC can give the following ratings to a movie:
AG – general admission;
AP-12 – parental guidance for children under the age of 12;
N-15 – not suitable for children under the age of 15, parental or tutor presence required all along the movie screening. The written statement of the parent/tutor is needed for this when purchasing the tickets.
IM-18 – admission is not permitted under the age of 18, even accompanied by a parent/tutor.
Parents and tutors shall at all times remain responsible for their child(ren) whether or not they are accompanied.
Visual identification (based on ID card, driving license, passport, and student card) may be requested prior to entry into an N15 movie; it will always be requested before an IM18 show.
Cinema City does not recommend that children under the age of three should attend movie screenings.
Access to the halls’ lobby is granted only for clients with valid tickets and maximum 20 minutes before the staring hour of the show.
Access to the cinema halls will be granted maximum 10 minutes before the starting hour of the movie.
Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
Customers must keep the fiscal receipt until they leave the cinema.
Ticket stubs should be kept in order to re-enter the cinema halls.
Customers have to comply with the row and seat number marked on their ticket.
Persons without a valid ticket will be asked to leave the premises.
Customers must keep their personal belongings with themselves at all times. Cinema City does not take liability for lost, stolen or damaged personal items brought onto our premises.
If a customer or group of customers breach(es) any of the terms and conditions of these policies, Cinema City reserves the right to eject the customer or group of customers from the auditorium and/or from the premises of the cinema without any entitlement to the refund and to take all necessary actions to prevent reoccurrence of such breach. Such actions may include banning and legal action.
Online or credit card purchases refunding may take up to 30 days, depending on the bank that issued the card. Online ticket transactions can be refunded only in the same day of the purchase.
Cinema City would also like to inform that:
Alcoholic beverages are not sold to underage customers.
Products purchased from the Cinema City concession and coffee corner will not be refunded.
In case of fire, earthquake or any other safety hazard always remain calm and follow the directions given by the cinema personal.
Customers are not allowed to:
Intentionally damage cinema property, including resting the feet on the seat;
Enter areas which are restricted to public access;
Bring large baggage into the cinema;
Bring pets into cinema premises.
WE INFORM YOU THAT DISABLED PERSONS AND THE PERSON ACCOMPANIYING THEM, BENEFIT FROM FREE TICKETS* BASED ON THE INDENTITY CARD AND HANDICAP CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE TERRITORIAL ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS.
