Guidelines for visitors to the 4DX Cinema Halls
Starting from the basic principles of the Company and especially in view of offering our customers the best quality services, we ask that you read carefully the following points and respect terms and conditions outlined in them.
GENERAL:
1. Before acquiring tickets for movies presented in 4DX format, please familiarize yourself with the present Terms and Conditions applicable to all visitors of 4DX cinema halls operated by Cinema City Romania.
2. By purchasing the ticket and entering the 4DX cinema hall you acknowledge that you are fully familiar with, understand, agree, will observe and comply with the Terms and Conditions for 4DX Cinema Halls (4DX T&C).
3. 4DX movies have special effects and during projection it might suddenly appear, at a high visual intensity. If you have doubts about your comfort and pleasure watching a 4DX movie, it is preferable not to purchase this type of ticket.
4. If you and /or the child accompanying you have medical problems of any nature or the child is very young, we strongly recommend you to consult your doctor before purchasing tickets at a 4DX movie and follow its recommendations. Also, please consider all of the recommendations and prohibitions listed below in our 4DX T&C. In such cases, where the Customer take the decision to attend the 4DX movie despite the above warnings, Cinema City shall not bear any responsibility and will not own any compensation nor refund to the Customer. While watching a 4DX movie some Customers may suffer headaches, impaired motor skills, dizziness, problems caused by air jets or other minor or medium complications; in extraordinary cases symptoms of epilepsy may occur during or after the show. The attendance to a 4DX movie will be entirely on the Customer own responsibility and the Company does not owe the Customer any refund nor compensation and it does not bear any responsibility in case of health problems caused by such attendance.
5. The Customer is fully responsible for knowing his health condition and for acknowledging and complying with the rules of the 4DX T&C for you and for the minors that accompany you. Also, the Customer has the duty to inform the minors accompanying in the 4DX cinema hall in a timely and appropriate manner about all the important rules, effects and possible side effects of viewing a 4DX movie and watching them for the duration of the show.
6. If, by non - compliance with the 4DX T&C, the Customer or the minors who accompany cause damages to the other visitors of the cinema hall, you will be fully responsible for all damages caused as a result.
7. In case a Customer is interested in attending a 4DX screening, it shall be the Customer responsibility to obtain all the necessary information related to the screening and the 4DX experience. The Company shall have no responsibility of any kind for any discomfort or other health issues that may be caused to the Customer as a result of the 4DX experience, in case the customer did not acquaint himself with the relevant information related to the screening and the 4DX experience.
8. The updated version of the Terms and Conditions for 4DX Cinema Halls is published at www.cinemacity.ro (the „Website”) and placed within all multiplexes at customers’ disposal, at the cashier’s desk. The Company reserves the right to change the updated Terms and Conditions from time to time, where the changes shall enter into force once they are published on the Website and placed at the multiplexes for Customers’ convenience at the cashiers’ desk. Before buying a ticket for a screening or using any service offered by Cinema City, customers should check, review and get acquainted with these Terms and Conditions as well as with the General Terms & Conditions of Cinema City. The absence of such review may not be used as an excuse by Customer, to claim against Cinema City for incidents caused to the Customer due to lack of knowledge of the Terms and Conditions.
9. Please note that at online purchasing of tickets for 4DX cinema halls, by checking the acceptance button on the site, the Customer confirms that he has read carefully the Terms and Conditions for 4DX halls, understands their content, accepts them, and agrees to buy tickets in accordance with and in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
10. By purchasing tickets for 4DX cinema halls at the cashier’s desk, the Customer confirms that he has carefully read the Terms and Conditions for 4DX cinema halls available in writing at the cashier’s desk, understands their content, accepts them, and agrees to purchase tickets in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIEWING A 4DX SHOW
1. The 4DX movie show uses special effects during the screening, as such, stay fully focused on the entire length of the movie and get ready for unexpected effects at any time of the projection.
2. The special seats of the 4DX system will move and will vibrate from time to time. Stay in a vertical position and keep your feet only on the special designated stand.
3. Ensure that your personal belongings will not fall, that you have eliminated the possibility that they will spill – every drink should be closed with a lid or cap - sprinkle and that there is no risk of a personal object being blown by the sudden wind. Scarves, hats, caps, or other light objects that may be blown by the wind can directly interfere with the special effects of the 4DX system.
4. You could be touched by clean water or treated water bubbles, which can cause stains on fabric, especially silk.
5. Do not get up and leave the hall during the movie unless it is absolutely necessary. Be very careful during any movement - the chairs can suddenly move at any time and other effects can start unexpectedly causing you or others damage or bodily harm.
6. During the projection, do not lift objects that have fallen or have been blown, or food and drinks that are dropped on the floor, please wait until the end of the screening to do so.
7. Make sure that no part of your body or any clothing article gets between the seats or the space between stairs and chairs during the projection, because there is a risk of injury or damage to your clothes.
8. Do not get close (especially with your eyes) to the special effect units, especially blowers and jet holes and avoid contacting them with personal objects that may suffer partial or total damage.
9. Projection of the 4DX Special Effects Movie may be disrupted due to non-observance of the Terms and Conditions by other viewers (especially with wind blowing articles in the cinema hall).
10. Coffee, tea and other hot drinks are allowed in the 4DX hall ONLY if they are closed with a lid, as they may spill and cause injury. Keep cold drinks only in covered glasses and consume them only during slow moving scenes.
11. You must remain seated the entire show unless it is absolutely necessary to leave the hall. If you experience any discomfort or need immediate help – inform any of the staff members so you can receive a prompt support.
12. The Company shall bear no liability of any kind and shall not be responsible for any injury / damage / mishap / impairment or any other medical issue that may arise from failure to observe the Terms and Conditions or failure to adhere to the Customer’s instructions inside the cinema hall. Furthermore, the cinema operator shall not be responsible for any damage or loss of any kind to any of your items brought into the theatre that were not sufficiently secured or protected or placed not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
13. For safety reasons and to prevent unwanted or inconvenient consequences of any nature, you are not allowed to enter the room if you suffer from:
a. Epilepsy;
b. Arterial hypertension;
c. Cardiovascular diseases;
d. motor impairment, especially of the spine;
e. Orthopedic problems;
f. Other serious medical conditions;
g. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
14. The following persons are not recommended to watch a 4DX movie:
a. Pregnant women;
b. People suffering from respiratory problems or allergies;
c. Children under 4 years of age;
d. People whose height does not exceed 1 meter;
15. Children up to 7 years are allowed enter the 4DX cinema hall only accompanied by an adult.
16. The weight limit of the chairs in the hall is 120 kg / person. People who cross this threshold will not be allowed access to the 4DX cinema hall.
17. Do not leave your clothes on the equipment, on the seats in front/next to you or on your backrest so that all guests in the movie theater can enjoy the 4DX experience to the max;
18. Due to security measures - seating on the stairs in the hall is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!
CLAIMS
1. These 4DX Terms and Conditions are part of the Ticket Purchase Agreement between Cinema City and each Customer, and the Customer will be bound by the terms and the conditions mentioned herein. The purchase of tickets is considered a contract for the provision of services of leisure activities, through which the Company undertakes to provide this service on a certain day and at a certain time or at a certain period and, as such, the customer cannot withdraw from the contract. as provided in Article 16 letter. l) of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 regarding Consumer rights in contracts concluded with traders, as well as for amending and supplementing some normative acts, with subsequent amendments.
2. Please immediately contact the cinema staff if the reception of the sound or image is incorrect, poor in quality or there is a problem with the 4DX effects as soon as you encounter it. We would like to inform you that non-compliance with this obligation may lead to the impossibility of confirming the legitimacy of your complaint.
3. All movies screened in 4DX cinema hall are subject to a separate pricing policy, in accordance with the price list available at the box office and on the website www.cinemacity.ro. We inform our customers that for the 4DX tickets, discount for children, students, pensioners are valid only Monday-Thursday, while Friday-Sunday there is a unique pricing policy with no available discounts.
4. Complaints may be filed during working hours in multiplexes and / or at the registered address of the Company and / or by email, as mentioned in the General Terms and Conditions.
5. In case of a problem or irregularity in the 4DX cinema hall, such the one in point 2 above, which by its nature must be found/remedied immediately, please contact the cinema manager immediately. Delayed complaints about an ongoing problem that can be verified on the spot will not be considered.
6. Any complaint will be considered only accompanied by the original ticket purchased, as proof that the Customer right to participate in the show.
